GSC Audit reads your own Google Search Console with the read-only access you grant on Google's sign-in screen, and turns the performance report into the lists you would otherwise build by hand: queries sitting just off page one, pages that are seen often and clicked rarely, pages losing clicks against the period before, and queries where several of your pages are competing with each other.

Every Figure Is Google's

Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position come straight from Search Console for the period you choose, compared with the same length of time just before it. Each list says the threshold it was filtered with, so near page one means positions 5 to 20 and nothing vaguer. There is no score on top.

Read-Only, And Yours To Withdraw

The access asked for is Search Console read-only: it cannot change a property, submit a sitemap or remove a page. The connection is stored encrypted and never shown back, and disconnecting it under Provider keys hands it back to Google as well as deleting it here.

What Is The SBMM GSC Audit?

GSC Audit is a live audit of your own Google Search Console. You connect your Google account once, choose one of the properties it can read, and pick a period of 7, 28 or 90 days. The tool reads the performance report for that period and the one before it, and sorts what it finds into lists you can act on.

Everything on the result is Google's own data. The tool does not estimate traffic, invent a difficulty or add a score: it filters Search Console's rows by stated thresholds, such as an average position of 5 to 20 for queries near page one, and shows the threshold beside each list.

The access is read-only and limited to Search Console. It is stored encrypted, used only for your own runs, never shown back to anyone, and handed back to Google when you disconnect.

How To Use This Tool In 3 Steps

  1. Connect Google

Under Provider keys, connect the Google account that has your Search Console properties. You approve read-only Search Console access on Google's own screen.

  2. Choose A Property And A Period

Pick one of the properties that account can read, and 7, 28 or 90 days. The period ends three days ago, where Search Console's figures have settled.

  3. Work Through The Lists

Start with pages losing clicks and queries near page one, then the low click-through pages and the queries split across several of your pages.

Why Use This Tool

  • Against The Period Before

Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position for your period and the same length of time just before it, and every page that gained or lost clicks between the two.

  • Queries Near Page One

Queries at an average position of 5 to 20, most impressions first: the ones where a better page has the most room to move.

  • Seen Often, Clicked Rarely

Pages with plenty of impressions and a low click-through rate, and pages with impressions and no clicks at all, each with the queries they are shown for.

  • Queries Split Across Pages

Queries where two or more of your pages each have real impressions, with the share the strongest page holds. A low share means Google is dividing the query between them.

  • Read-Only Access

The only Google permission asked for is Search Console read-only. Nothing in your account can be changed by this tool.

  • No Invented Numbers

No authority score, no severity label, no guess at why a figure moved. Google's figures and the stated rule that picked each row, nothing else.

Frequently Asked Questions

What access does it ask for?

Read-only access to Search Console, plus your email address so the account page can say which Google account is connected. It cannot change settings, submit sitemaps or remove pages.

Do I need a paid plan?

It runs under your plan's tool allowance like the other tools that call an API. Search Console itself is free, and every run uses your own Google account.

Why does the period end three days ago?

Search Console's performance figures take two to three days to settle. Ending the period there compares like with like instead of a finished week with a half-counted one.

Why is my property not in the list?

The list is the properties the connected Google account can read in Search Console. Verify the site in Search Console with that account, or connect the account that already has it.

What does the strongest page's share mean?

For a query where several of your pages appear, it is the share of the query's impressions that go to the page with the most clicks. At 90% one page clearly owns the query; at 40% Google is spreading it across your pages, which is worth a look.

Is there a score?

No. Search Console reports clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position, and those are what you get. A score on top would be weights somebody chose, dressed up as a measurement.

How do I disconnect?

Under Account, Provider keys, choose Disconnect. The stored access is deleted here and handed back to Google in the same step. You can also remove it from your Google account's security settings.
