Images made with Gemini's image model, widely called Nano Banana, carry a small white sparkle in the bottom-right corner. This tool removes it by running the blend that put it there in reverse: the logo's opacity at every pixel is known from calibration, so the colour underneath can be worked out rather than painted over.

Your Image Stays On Your Device

The file is opened, cleaned and saved in this browser tab. It is not uploaded, so there is nothing for us to store, log or delete. The only thing the server learns is that one image was processed, which is how the daily allowance is counted.

What It Can And Cannot Do

It removes the visible logo from images at the sizes Gemini produces. An image that has been resized or cropped since it left Gemini has its logo somewhere the tool cannot know, and the result will say so. It does not touch SynthID, the invisible watermark Google also embeds, and it is not a general watermark remover for other generators.

What Is The Gemini Nano Banana Watermark Remover?

The Gemini Nano Banana Watermark Remover takes the small white sparkle out of the bottom-right corner of an image made with Gemini's image model, the one widely known as Nano Banana. It runs in your browser: the image is opened, cleaned and saved on your own device and is never uploaded.

It does not repaint the corner with an AI model and hope the texture matches. The sparkle was added by blending a white logo over the picture at a known opacity, pixel by pixel, so the blend can be run backwards to recover the colour that was underneath. Where the logo is faint the recovery is very close to the original; where it is nearly opaque, rounding in the 8-bit pixels means small differences can remain.

It knows where the sparkle sits because Gemini produces a fixed set of image sizes, each with the logo at a known size and margin. An image that has been resized or cropped since has its logo somewhere else, and the tool will tell you it did not recognise the size rather than claim a clean result.

How To Use This Tool In 3 Steps

  1. Add Your Gemini Image

Drop a PNG, JPEG or WebP onto the panel, choose a file, or paste one with Ctrl+V. Up to 25 MB and 64 megapixels.

  2. The Sparkle Is Removed

The size is matched against the sizes Gemini produces, the logo's square is located, and the blend is reversed inside that square. Nothing outside it is changed.

  3. Compare And Download

Drag the slider to compare before and after, then download the result as a PNG, so a JPEG is not compressed a second time.

Why Use This Tool

  • Reverse Blending, Not Inpainting

The colour under the logo is calculated from the logo's known opacity, not invented by a model. No smudged patch, no made-up texture.

  • Gemini's Own Sizes

Matches the image against the sizes Gemini emits, from its 0.5K to its 4K tier, including the newer margin Gemini introduced in 2026. An unrecognised size is reported as such.

  • Never Uploaded

Everything happens in this tab. There is no server step, so nothing is stored, logged or kept, and closing the tab discards it.

  • PNG, JPEG And WebP

Up to 25 MB and 64 megapixels in. Saved as PNG so the cleaned image is not re-compressed.

  • Before And After Slider

Compare the two across the whole image before you download, with the mouse, a finger or the keyboard.

  • One Free Image A Day, Three With An Account

No sign-up for your first image of the day. A free account gives you three a day, and every paid plan removes the limit. Only the count reaches us, never the image.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I remove the Gemini Nano Banana watermark?

Drop the image onto the panel at the top of this page, choose it from your device, or paste it with Ctrl+V. The sparkle is removed in a moment; drag the slider to check the result and click Download PNG.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is decoded, cleaned and re-saved by your own browser. It never reaches our servers: all we record is that one image was processed, to count it against the day's allowance.

Will the image lose quality?

Only the logo's square is changed; every other pixel is left exactly as it was, and the result is saved as PNG so it is not compressed again. Inside the square the original colours are recovered very closely, but not always to the last digit: where the logo is nearly opaque, 8-bit rounding and any JPEG compression the image already had can leave faint traces.

Why does it say it did not recognise the size?

Because the image is not one of the sizes Gemini produces, usually because it was resized or cropped afterwards. The logo is then not where the tool expects it, so it falls back to a rule of thumb that may miss. Use the image as it came out of Gemini.

Does it work on Midjourney, DALL-E or other generators?

No. Each generator marks its images differently, and this tool is calibrated only for Gemini's visible sparkle.

Does it remove SynthID?

No. SynthID is an invisible watermark Google builds into the image itself, separate from the visible sparkle, and this tool does not touch it. Tools that check for SynthID will still find it.

Is it legal to remove the watermark?

You are responsible for using this in line with your local law and Google's terms for Gemini. Use it on images you generated yourself or have permission to edit, and do not use a cleaned image to hide that it was made with AI where disclosure is required.
